Mar 6: 40K Battlemissions Tourney
9am army registration, $10 entry
1250 point armies, 3 rounds, Swiss Pairing
All rounds will use missions from the new Battle Missions Book. First round will be a randomly selected mission appropriate to the opponents. For the second and third missions, the player with the lowest battle points gets to pick one of their own missions. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, Best Painting, and Best Sportsman.  NOTE: If you select a mission that requires special tokens or terrain, you MUST supply these for yourself and your opponent. (Sorry, the store will not have a pre-built "warp rift" available!) A Johnny D production, run by our very own Jon Dell Issola!

Mar 13: Warhammer Petting Zoo
1pm to 4pm, free!
So the feed bill came due for my dragon, and man, it was HUGE! I realized he hadn't eaten any (free) opponents in a long while, so I was paying for that scaly appetite all by myself. Well, that's easy to fix!
Bring in a Lord worth up to 300 points, and a monster up to 300 points, for a Hero bash of epic scale. Each game will pit one monster against one hero. Winner of the game defends the board against the next player's monster until their hero is killed. Winning player then defends with his monster against an attacking hero until slain. Prizes awarded to the player who kills the most monsters, and the player who kills the most heros!

Mar 20: Malifaux Starter Box Tourney
9am army registration, on table at 10 am, Free!
25 point armies, 3 rounds, Swiss Pairing
Force selection is limited to the models contained in a starter box. You may add additional models to make points as long as they are additional copies of models from the starter box. Fully painted masters get a bonus soulstone.  If the crew is completely painted, the size of the Control Hand is increased by one. Winner will receive one starter set of their choice!

Apr 3: WH Fantasy Escalation Series Tourney
9am army registration, on table at 10 am, $15
750 point armies, 4 rounds, Swiss Pairing
This tourney is part of a connected series of tournaments.. Each tourney is judged on sportsmanship, appearance and battle point scores, with prizes awarded to Best Overall General, Best Sport and Best Painted Army. Scores are cumulative across all four tournaments.  The player with the Best Overall score across all four tourneys will be able to pick one Battalion Box for the army of their choice!

Apr 11: FoW Late War 600pt Scrambler
Details still under discussion, but save this date!
We expect this tourney to have two divisions, one for those attempting to qualify for nationals and another for more casual players. Entry fee $10, prizes awarded to winners of each division, with a "Lucky Shot" random prize.  Additional prizes may be awarded, depending upon attendance.

Apr 24: Mini Exchange & Painting Contest
Mini exchange 12noon to 2pm
Judging start 12noon
Register for The Whiz Store Spring Miniatures Exchange in our forums by March 15. Registered entrants will be randomly assigned another person to paint for. Select one of the models requested by your recipient, paint it, and present the model to them on April 24^th between noon and 2pm. Exchanged minis will be automatically entered into a painting contest. The best painted mini being given away will win the painter a additional prize (in addition to the model they receive from someone else!)

You may also enter any other miniature purchased in the store, into a general entry painting contest. The general entry contest will have two categories: Best painted mini (which will not be exchanged) and the best painted unit. Open to any figures, from any game system!

July 10 & 11: ‘Ard Dayz of Summer
9am army registration, on table at 10 am, $25
3500 point armies, 3 rounds, Swiss Pairing
A tournament for the hard-core hobbyist. 3500pts of fully painted WYSIWYG models and four rounds of play over two days. Sportsmanship, painting and battle points. First place prize TBD, but it will be worth $200 in models. Secondary prizes for best painted army and for best sport. Save this date!
